PSG’s state of the art recruiting centers are located in the heart of Manila’s financial district. We staff our centers with highly qualified, well trained recruiters, and we give those recruiters the tools and resources necessary to provide you with superior recruiting support.
Our Recruiters All of our recruiters have multiple years of relevant experience before joining us – typically they have worked in sales or recruiting in support of well-known multinationals such as IBM, American Express, or Proctor and Gamble. Additionally, all of our recruiters have four year college degrees, and strong English communication skills. The Philippines has over 50 million English speakers, which allows us to be extremely picky in terms of hiring recruiters. In fact, we hire about 4% of the experienced recruiters who apply for a job with us. To get a sense of our recruiters’ communication skills, Click Here for a short video.
Each of our recruiters is dedicated to one client only, working solely on that client’s behalf. They work a 45 hour workweek, which equates to approximately 40 productive hours after lunch and breaks. The specific hours our recruiters work is determined by our clients. While typically our recruiters work the local business hours of our clients, our recruiting centers are open 24X7, so some of our clients choose to have their recruiters work into the evening hours, to better enable them to get in touch with candidates after the US workday.
Our Training Once a recruiter joins PSG, we take them through nearly a month of full time training on the PSG Global approach to recruiting. The core of our training content is provided by Danny Cahill’s training company, According to Danny. Danny and his team built a customized series of webinars exclusively for our Philippines-based recruiting organization. Our dedicated internal training team combines the Cahill content with our internally developed curriculum to administer a training program that stresses role-playing and on-phone time.
Our Performance Management System All PSG employees are assessed and compensated based on our clients’ results. When we go through implementation with a client, we determine the metrics that matter the most to that client, as well as the required levels of performance on those metrics. We then bake those goals into the scorecard of that client’s recruiters, and link the scorecard to significant portion of each recruiter’s compensation. By aligning our recruiter’s goals with our client’s goals, we ensure that we’re delivering the best recruiting results possible for our client.
Our Account Management During implementation, every new client is assigned an account manager, who helps coordinate the work of our recruiters on an ongoing basis. The account manager monitors the performance of the client’s assigned recruiters, provides the client with regular read-outs of key performance metrics, and ensures any changes to the client’s account are seamlessly implemented.
